Oh I see you have landed on my site. This site is where I plan to take over the world. Not really I’m far too busy looking at LOLCAT pictures to do that. Instead this is a site where I write about whats on my mind which is usually something to do with Japan, music, web design or something design based.

Well anyway that face over there belongs to me. Don’t let it scare you too much I assure you I’m a nice guy. Let me introduce myself.

I’m a 17 year old Japanese enthusiast currently living in Derby, United Kingdom. It’s not an amazing place but there are a lot worse places.

I have 4 main hobbies that take up most of my time when I am not procrastinating on doing them.

Japanese

Japanese is my main hobby in fact I would say it is my life. Both in the sense that I spend a lot of my time studying the language or watching/reading/listening to things that come from the 4 islands. But also because every other hobby I partake in has the final goal of me going to Japan to do it.

Music

Music has been a passion of mine since I was an early teen. Listening to my dads heavy metal albums as well as my family’s other albums such as Tom Jones has set me up for an extremely diverse and multi national musical taste.  Ranging from Black Metal to J-pop and more.

I’m currently working on musical projects both solo and with a friend. My solo project is a Math-rock based instrumental project. Where as the other is a Slam metal band with copious amounts of hilarious samples only the two of us actually get.

Web Design

The way I got into web design is a strange one to say the least. I “designed” things throughout my life but they have only ever really been for make believe products like skateboard companies and such. I bet you are thinking “well that isn’t exactly strange” but wait theres more. The way I got into actual web design was by watching Die Hard 4.0 and suddenly wanting to become a hacker (sad I know), well this got me onto message boards to learn and I soon discovered that I’d prefer to use code to create things rather than destroy them.

Photography

Photography is my least exercised hobby ): It’s something I love doing but need to get out and do more of. I only ever seem to do it whilst I am on holiday or somewhere new. I’ve taken pictures in Normandy and I think they came out rather well so I think I need to go further into this hobby.

Goals in life

The ultimate goal in my life is to become a web designer based in Japan. If this comes true I’d be a happy man/boy.
